REFRIGERATION PLANTS

HIGH-QUALITY REFRIGERATION PLANTS
fOR COMPANIES IN HOUSTON, TX & ALL ACROSS THE UNITED STATES

Here at Credence Gas Services, LLC, we know that each company has unique objectives. That’s why our refrigeration plants are custom-designed to achieve maximum and consistent results for a wide variety of natural gas processing applications.

Remote monitoring and adjustment are available wherever there is an internet signal, and these units can also achieve extremely high turn-down capacities thanks to customized unloaders and a hot gas bypass. They can also come in different models, including a base model, one for outdoor use, and an explosion-proof model that meets Class 1 Div.2 specifications.

All of our units are electric powered and can come with on-board computer systems monitoring all sensing points and controlling operation. Contact our family-owned gas processing company today to learn more about our refrigeration plants and how they can help you achieve the results you’re looking for! We're proud to serve companies throughout the United States, and locally in the Houston, TX; Corpus Christi, TX; College Station, TX; Midland, TX; Beaumont, TX; Clovis, NM; Carlsbad, NM; Hobbs, NM; and Lake Charles, LA areas.

WHAT IS A REFRIGERATION PLANT?

Cooling and Condensation:

Inside a refrigeration skid, the raw natural gas undergoes a cooling process similar to that in a stationary refrigeration unit. A refrigeration cycle is employed, which involves compressing a refrigerant, passing it through a condenser to release heat and liquefy, expanding the liquefied refrigerant through an expansion valve to achieve rapid cooling, and circulating the cooled refrigerant through a heat exchanger to cool the incoming natural gas stream. As the gas cools, its heavier hydrocarbons (NGLs) begin to condense into liquid form.

Separation:

The cooled natural gas stream, now containing condensed NGLs, enters a separation vessel or separator within the mobile skid. In this vessel, the liquid NGLs separate from the remaining natural gas and are collected at the bottom.

Storage or Transportation:

The separated NGLs can be stored temporarily within the mobile skid or transported to another location for further processing or distribution.

Outlet of Treated Gas:

The processed natural gas, now stripped of a portion of its NGL content, exits the mobile refrigeration skid. It may undergo additional treatment or be ready for immediate use or transportation, depending on the specific requirements and regulations.
